We had a good Christmas. Not doing very much which I kind of like it after the busy season. Then Wishbone’s picture by C.Coward was a surprising Christmas gift especially after she died 2012. She was such a character still remembered by family and friends so well. The drawing made me restart to decorate our small entrance gallery where I drew wishbone few years ago thinking to put lots of pictures there but has been abundant for a while…still thinking should I paint it black or not. Well I will be working on this space this year. Thank you for the inspirational present.

いつも頭を悩ますクリスマスプレゼント
親戚の子供達も大きくなりあまりはずれなものは送れず
年上の方々は当然特に欲しいものはなく…
ギフトカードの交換になりつつもあったのですが
今年は姪が友人のアーティストに頼んでウィッシュボーンのイラストを送ってくれました
心のこもった贈り物である以上に生まれた頃から知っている小さかったゾエが
こういう贈り物を考えてくれたことがとても感慨深く
早速ほったらかしにしていた玄関のギャラリーを飾り始めました
